Dr. Nzisa L. Mutinga

 

Dr. Nzisa L. Mutinga earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in Internal Medicine. She then pursued fellowship training in Nephrology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Mutinga holds a Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. She is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology, bringing a unique perspective that integrates clinical expertise with public health.

She has been recognized for her dedication to advancing nephrology through both clinical practice and academic involvement. She has contributed to medical education and patient advocacy while actively engaging in professional leadership.

Dr. Mutinga’s professional interests include chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and public health approaches to improving kidney care outcomes.
