Joanne Crossan

Joanne A. Crossan brings over three decades of experience in critical care nursing, having served in ICU, PCU, PACU, and Emergency Department settings. Since becoming a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2011, she has provided expert care in both nephrology and hospital medicine.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University in New York, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. Joanne has also shared her clinical expertise as a faculty member, teaching both undergraduate and graduate nursing students at the University of South Carolina.

Joanne is an active member of the National Kidney Foundation and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and she remains committed to advancing evidence-based care in acute and chronic disease management.

She lives in Irmo, South Carolina, with her husband, their cat, and their dog. Joanne enjoys reading, gardening, crafting, and traveling with her grown daughter and son. She values family, faith, and lifelong learning.
