Dr. Asha Bailey
Dr. Asha Bailey earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete both her residency in Internal Medicine and her fellowship in Nephrology at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Bailey is board-certified in Internal Medicine and brings a strong foundation of training and experience to her clinical practice.
She is an active member of the South Carolina Medical Association, the American Society of Nephrology, the National Kidney Foundation, the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the National Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. Through her involvement in these organizations, she contributes to the advancement of medical education, advocacy, and patient care at both state and national levels.
Dr. Bailey’s clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and acute kidney injury. She is also passionate about preventive health and patient education, with a focus on empowering individuals to take proactive steps in managing their kidney health. She continues to integrate evidence-based practices into her work to deliver high-quality and compassionate care.
